Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman participated in the second edition of “Big Blue Hope – Planting Corals, Building Reefs" in conjunction with Ocean Week Brunei. Also in attendance was His Royal Highness the Crown Prince's daughter, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah.

The event began with a short introduction to coral ecology, and a coral planting demonstration. Teams then headed to the site at Pelong Rock, where corals were planted both on-board and underwater using hands-on methods that prioritise coral health and survivability. A total of 54 reef balls were used for the coral planting onto the artificial reef system deployed for the fishing community, with the intention of helping increase fish stock in the near future. The participation by Her Royal Highness and His Royal Highness' daughter highlight Brunei Darussalam's ongoing commitment to protect its marine ecosystems.
